Pledge Drive Haiku, Take Two

Volunteer Barrett Grimm answers phones almost every morning during VPR's pledge drives. In between, he delights and amuses us (and himself) by writing haikus about the drive. Here are some of his latest:

Poetry on holiday?

Nope. Not on my watch.

David did okay.

The phones rang, people answered

And nothing blew up.

Slaloming dirt roads

Boiling sap, counting pledges

The real March Madness.
